I was at the San Diego Public Library this afternoon and spoke with Rick Crawford the director of the California Room and the Genealogy Room.
He mentioned that he had an article in the 1 May 2010 San Diego Union concerning the 1890 census. It seems that there were people then who didn't want the census people interfering and snooping. Today is nothing new!
